Ukrainian-born Australian pianist Alexander Gavrylyuk’s pianism is rooted in the great traditions of the Russian keyboard school, supercharged with virtuosity yet, as The Times put it, ‘emotionally gripping, structurally thoughtful, and deeply musical’.
