CuteCircuit: Talk and Demo
Join a multi-sensory evening exploring moving light, responding to the Julio le Parc exhibition Responding to Julio Le Parc ’s light sculptures, award-winning innovators Ryan Genz and Francesca Rosella of CuteCircuit invite audiences into a cinematic evening of live demos and conversation. These will explore light, haptic technology and multi-sensory experience. Like Le Parc, their work is participatory, foregrounding embodiment and perception. The talk will explore audience activation, critical design and the blurring of art, fashion and technology. The conversation will be moderated by writer, curator and editor Alex Estorick. About the moderator Alex Estorick Alex Estorick is a writer, editor, and curator who seeks to develop socially progressive approaches to new technologies. As Editor-in-Chief at Right Click Save , he aims to drive critical conversation about blockchain, NFTs, and Web3. He is also Contributing Editor for Art and Technology at Flash Art. He was lead author of the first aesthetics of crypto art and is an International Selector for The Lumen Prize. Accessibility There is step-free access from the entrance through to the Starr Cinema.
