Round off the year with a joyful family event that celebrates creativity, coming together and being who you are. Designed to give you and your family an injection of joy in dreary December, Southbank Centre star Len Blanco leads you through games, dances and crafty activities to celebrate the magic of the season and the magic of being yourself. Len Blanco is a drag king, musician, comedian, writer, actor, director and facilitator. Time Out says as a compère and singer he has ‘overwhelming talent’, and since he started out as a drag king in 2016, you may have seen him on many stages, including at the Southbank Centre, Blackpool Tower, a tent in Glastonbury and a bus in Edinburgh. Saturday Sessions are the perfect place to start the weekend. On a monthly basis you can enjoy a piece of art, make something new along with the artists and create with other children and their families – all for free!
