MimeLondon: INHALE DELIRIUM EXHALE

Surrender to the pull of the tide as Miet Warlop merges dance, art and theatre in a breathtakingly beautiful performance inspired by the movement of waves. In INHALE DELIRIUM EXHALE, artist Miet Warlop – recently appointed to represent Belgium at the 2026 Venice Biennale – brings to life the inner turbulence of the creative process. Accompanied by a group of performers and 1,500 metres of silk fabric, the choreography unfolds like a ritual concert: images erupt and waves of wonder and pleasure wash over, all propelled by music from DEEWEE. Following the immense success of her previous performance ONE SONG, Warlop draws inspiration for this new work from the movement of waves – a symbol of change and unpredictability, and a metaphor for imagination and transformation. This ode to imagination is poetic, powerful and yet steeped in irony. INHALE DELIRIUM EXHALE invites you to dive deep into a visual universe and the delirium that arises between one breath and the next.
