Carol Morley’s docudrama about the chilling real-life story of Joyce Carol Vincent, who died alone in a north London bedsit in 2003. Morley’s unflinching yet compassionate portrait of Joyce Carol Vincent, whose remains were only discovered in her flat three years after her death, expertly weaves interviews and archival footage with impressionistic scenes featuring actor Zawe Ashton.
