The director and actor join us for a special screening of their horror sensation. One evening in the 1990s, Clark, a frustrated manager of a failing furniture store discovers a mysterious new room off his store’s basement. Lined with monochromatic yellow walls and humming with the constant buzz fluorescent lights, it appears to be an endless dimension of distorted liminal spaces. Adapted from on his hit web series inspired by creepypasta internet lore, Kane Parsons’ feature film debut brims with atmospheric dread and eerie nostalgia, while pulling at threads of anxiety, isolation, and psychological labyrinths. Before the screening, Parsons joins us with lead actor Chiwetel Ejiofor to dive into how they created one of the most talked about films of the summer.
